The architecture is traditional Balinese, with a tropical garden, and the afternoon's centrepiece is the swim-up pool bar: you get a drink without leaving the water. There's bingo and live music in the evenings, a spa and a gym. Benesari sits in the thick of Kuta, with Andrenalin and the memorial a few steps off. A lively but orderly place, good for couples and families who aren't after wildness and like a drink with a view of the garden.
