It's the beach you end up at without planning to, because it sits right in the middle of Canggu. Mornings bring surfers, plenty on longboards, and schools running lessons, so it's a good place to see how people start out. In the late afternoon it fills with people coming for sunset, with dark sand and food stalls close by. To get a spot, arrive an hour early. If you swim, stay between the flags and avoid the areas with rips. Many stays are within walking distance. Ideal if you're travelling solo and want to meet people over a drink by the sea.
