Going to Uluwatu? See who'll be around
Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.
A beach down the cliff stairs, with a surf break and cafés looking out to sea.
You reach it by stairs and alleys down from the cliff, and that approach is part of the fun. Below there's a small beach where surfers and spectators mix. The best move is to climb back up to one of the cliff-edge cafés, order something and watch the waves from above. At high tide there's barely any sand, so check before you go. There's little shade on the beach, but the cafés solve that. A good spot if you want to watch surf up close without getting in, and it pairs easily with Padang Padang and Thomas Beach in one afternoon.
