Going to Uluwatu? See who'll be around
Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.
A beach tucked under the cliffs, with caves, stairs and a strong surf vibe.
Its real name is Suluban, and the way in is half the appeal: stairs run through caves down to a cove of rocks and clear water. At high tide there's almost no sand, so aim for mid or low tide. Bars up on the cliff have views and people tend to stay for sunset. It's an easy stop alongside Uluwatu Temple and Padang Padang, both a short scooter ride away. Good for anyone who enjoys the surf scene and doesn't mind climbing stairs in the heat.
