Going to Munduk? See who'll be around
Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.
A Buddhist monastery in the north, serene and unlike Bali's Hindu temples. Best visited unhurried.
The mood here is completely different: it's a Buddhist monastery, and you notice it in the quiet and in how people move. It's a place to spend a little time, not a quick photo stop. Go in the morning, dress respectfully (shoulders and knees covered) and keep your voice low. It's close to the hot springs, so the two pair up nicely. It suits solo travellers looking for calm, or anyone who has seen plenty of Hindu temples and wants something different.
