Going to Sidemen? See who'll be around

Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.

A seaside temple beside a cave full of bats: a short stop on the coast road.

A temple with a bat cave right next to the grounds, and what stays with you is the sound and smell of the place, nothing like a postcard temple. It's a short stop: forty-five minutes is enough. Go in the morning when it's cooler and quieter, and don't expect to enter the cave itself, as it's a prayer area. Cover shoulders and knees, and think twice if a ceremony is on and you'd rather not intrude. It sits on the coast road, so it's a handy break on a drive or scooter ride. Good for the curious and for anyone who's seen a few temples and wants something different.
