Going to Ubud? See who'll be around
Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.
A water temple with springs and ponds, calmer than the famous ones.
A water temple where sound is the main thing: springs, ponds with fish, and mossy shaded corners. It's north of Ubud, around Tegalalang and Sebatu, so slot it into a scooter loop in the area. It's usually far quieter than the better-known temples, especially if you go early. You'll be lent a sarong at the entrance; wear something that covers knees and shoulders. Keep clear of anyone praying and don't step into the worship areas. A good one to do alone when you want to slow right down.
