A bamboo village tucked among gardens, with a private pool and a spa for vanishing for a couple of days.
The name fits: bamboo among gardens, a small hamlet of houses each with its own pool. A front desk staffed round the clock and daily cleaning make up for the seclusion. From the loungers you look out at green, the Asian breakfast comes to your house and the spa closes the day. Getting to Sidemen takes some transport, and they hire out cars. You come here to meet nobody. Couples wanting seclusion enjoy it, as do people writing or reading; the upper floors have stairs only, worth knowing if mobility is an issue.
