Going to Munduk? See who'll be around
Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.
A dark-sand beach in the north that's slow and quiet. Come early and stay a while.
If you're coming up from southern Bali expecting surf and beach bars every few metres, this is a different pace: a long stretch of dark sand where mornings are slow and the sea is calm. Go early, when the fishing boats head out and the light is soft. Some people take a boat at that hour to look for dolphins, but agree on the price before you step in. Bring flip-flops, sunscreen and a bit of cash, and don't expect waves. It suits anyone wanting a couple of unhurried hours on a trip across the north, and less so anyone after white-sand postcard views.
