Going to Uluwatu? See who'll be around
Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.
A small cove reached through a gap in the rock, with a famous wave and little space.
One of the most photographed spots in the area: stairs lead through a narrow gap between rocks, and on the other side a short cove opens up with the sea right in front of you. At low tide you can walk and swim; at high tide there's hardly any sand. Go early, before the crowds arrive, especially if you like watching surfers from the shore. There are warungs and toilets up top. It's easy to combine with Thomas Beach and Bingin by scooter or on foot. Suits travellers after a photogenic beach stop rather than a full day.
