Going to Seminyak? See who'll be around
Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.
A seaside temple in the middle of Seminyak, for a short, respectful visit before heading to the beach.
Pura Petitenget is a Hindu sea temple right beside the beach of the same name. It's a working place of worship rather than a monument, so come to look quietly and take your time. Wear a sarong with shoulders and knees covered, and follow the usual Balinese temple customs. If a ceremony is on, stay at the edge and keep your camera away from people praying. Half an hour is enough, and it pairs well with a sunset walk along the shore. It suits anyone who wants something genuinely local without leaving the beach area.
