It's one of those hotels where the point is outside: you leave via the Kuta Theater lane and the beach is a ten-minute walk, with warungs, massage parlours and surf shops on the way. Inside there's a garden with a pool for the afternoon heat and a balcony or terrace in many rooms. Reception speaks English, French and Japanese. A simple, calm base for travellers who spend the day on the street, alone or as a couple, with no demand for luxury.
