Going to Ubud? See who'll be around

Cottages with a pool and restaurant on Jalan Bisma, steps from the Palace and the rice fields.
Jalan Bisma keeps something the centre has lost: rice fields a few steps from the cafés. Here you get cottages with a balcony or terrace, a pool with views over both sides of the garden, a restaurant and bike rental. If you like, there are cooking classes, cultural visits and organised walks. The market and the Puri Lukisan Museum are a stroll away, and at night the street settles. Good for couples and solo travellers who want to get around without a scooter and still have a bit of countryside.
