A small guesthouse on Jalan Sandat with an infinity pool, a garden and a big terrace, roughly 10 minutes on foot from the centre. The double rooms are simple and very clean, with air conditioning, a private bathroom, a desk and, in some, a balcony over the garden. Breakfast comes with several options, including vegetarian, continental and Asian. Reception speaks English and Indonesian, and children are welcome. There is no restaurant, bar or common kitchen, so it suits couples, solo travellers who want a calm base and people who prefer eating out. Ubud Palace is 1.2 km away, the Campuhan Ridge Walk a bit over 2 km, and the airport is about 34 km.
