Sandat Garden House is a small guesthouse on Jalan Sandat, a side street in central Ubud about 650 m from Ubud Palace. The double rooms are bright, with big windows, air conditioning, a private bathroom, a desk and a balcony over the garden, plus a minibar and a coffee maker for slow mornings. Breakfast is included, Asian or American. It's a calm place to come back to after a day out, good for solo travellers, couples and anyone working remotely for a few days. Puri Lukisan museum and the start of the Campuhan Ridge Walk are within walking distance, and the hosts can arrange bike and walking tours. Reception speaks English and Indonesian. Check-in from 14:00.
