A rice-barn style stay with a garden terrace and well-soundproofed rooms, easy for families.
The idea is simple: a house with the feel of a Balinese barn, a tended garden and rooms with balconies where you actually sleep well, since they block out noise. Some rooms sleep families, so it works with kids or a group of friends. Breakfast is served on site, Asian or American, and the restaurant covers other meals. The paths through the rice fields start almost at the gate and the village can be walked. It's a calm, unfussy spot. A good choice for solo travellers who value sleep, small families and couples craving calm; if you're after nightlife, Sidemen isn't the place.
