Going to Nusa Penida? See who'll be around
Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.
A forest path with steps down to a small beach: quieter than the island's big classics.
If the crowded viewpoint circuit is wearing on you, this is a calmer plan: a path through trees that drops towards a small beach, with shady corners to stop along the way. It's not a spectacular-photo kind of place; it's for wandering slowly and cooling off. Mornings are quieter and cooler. Wear comfortable shoes, since there are plenty of steps and the climb back tires you out, and bring water. If you pass any place of worship on the route, respect it and dress modestly. An hour and a half is a good estimate. Suits solo travelers or couples who'd rather go at their own pace.
