It works well as a base for families, with the water park round the corner, a pool with a kids' area and a full breakfast. Rooms have balconies and there's a 24-hour front desk, plus a bar and restaurant of its own. You walk to the beach in five minutes, and for the rest of Kuta you hail a Grab. A tour desk can set up a day trip to Uluwatu or Ubud. Comfortable and unfussy, good for families and groups of friends with time.
