Going to Ubud? See who'll be around
Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.
Painter Antonio Blanco's Ubud home-studio: canvases, collages and a hilltop perch above the Campuhan river.
Set on a small hill above the Campuhan river, this was the home and studio of Antonio Blanco, the painter born in Manila to Spanish parents who settled in Ubud in the early 1950s. The building opened as a museum in 1998 and holds his canvases, collages and illustrated books, along with work by his son Mario. It's a compact, colourful visit of about an hour, and it pairs well with the Campuhan Ridge walk, which starts a few minutes away. Come in the morning before the tour groups. A café and a shop sit at the entrance.
