Join solo, or not

A simple, spotless guesthouse on Jalan Hanoman with a breakfast people rave about, a short walk from Ubud Palace.

Boge House is a small family-style guesthouse right in central Ubud, on Jalan Hanoman. Rooms are plain but well kept: a double bed, air conditioning, a private bathroom with shower and a desk if you need to get some work done, with a terrace looking over the garden. Breakfast is included and is the thing guests mention most. Ubud Palace and the Puri Lukisan museum are within ten minutes on foot, the Monkey Forest and the start of the Campuhan Ridge Walk are around 1.5 km away, and there's free parking if you rent a scooter. A good base for solo travellers or couples who want to be in the middle of things without paying for it. Check-in from 13:00.
