A hostel for adults only, on Jalan Monkey Forest and 500 m from the forest itself, so the centre is on foot. You can pick a bed in a mixed or female dorm, or a double room with a private bathroom (the King Room has a spa bath), which makes it a rare place where solo travellers and couples share the same pool. The social side is real: a bar and restaurant with vegetarian and vegan dishes, film nights, live music, board games, a lounge and yoga classes, plus a small gym and massage. The 24-hour front desk helps with tours and luggage. Good for meeting people without giving up a decent room, though it is on the pricier side for a hostel.
