Going to Ubud? See who'll be around

Plan your trip and we'll show you travellers on your dates. Only if you both want.

The closest big waterfall to Ubud, with a lot of steps down. Go first thing or share it with a crowd.

It's the easy waterfall from Ubud when you don't want a day on the road: just a short ride south by scooter. The view from the top is good, but the real thing is taking the stairs down to the river and feeling the spray up close. The climb back is hot and hard work, so pace yourself. Arrive early, because by mid-morning it's packed and a photo without people gets tricky. Bring swimwear and shoes with grip if you want to get close, and stay out if the water is fast or muddy, especially in the rainy season. For anyone with half a morning free and looking for a first Bali waterfall.
