A temple beside the lake in the mountains, which on misty mornings feels very different from the coastal temples. Go early: later the groups arrive and the calm goes. Dress respectfully, shoulders and knees covered, and bring a sarong in case you're asked. Wandering the grounds and shoreline takes an hour without you noticing. It pairs well with the lake and the nearby botanic garden. It suits anyone who likes temples with a setting, and photographers, and less so anyone hoping for an empty place at midday.
